AI for CenterTest

Kimputing's AI solutions leverage AI agents powered by a locally-deployed Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture. MCPs provide an open standard that connects AI coding assistants to defined context sources and can be aligned to your enterprise security policies.

Understand how Kimputing has leveraged AI to modernize CenterTest development.

CenterTest Analytics records comprehensive data for every test execution:

  • Execution Results: Pass/fail status, timing, data-driven values, and test-generated values such as account numbers, policy numbers, and claim numbers.

  • Runtime actions: Every click, field input, assertion, and navigation step with precise timing.

  • Environment Context: Pipeline, browser, configuration, and execution parameters.

Data is stored to a database of your choice, using a documented schema to enable custom queries, AI-assisted analytics, and integration with reporting platforms.

Change Analytics

Change Analytics identifies every modification to PCF fields and properties between two Guidewire versions or configurations, tracking added, modified, relocated, and deleted elements.

CenterTest knows what you changed, and knows if you tested it.

The process works in two steps:

  1. During regeneration, CenterTest compares your current Guidewire source code against the prior version to identify PCF modifications.

  2. Then, during test execution, CenterTest monitors widget interactions and maps them against those changes. Change Analytics tells you exactly which customizations have not been tested.

CenterTest Output

CenterTest Narratives: Business-readable documentation generated directly from analytics data. Simply turn it on, and your test executions are translated into plain-language output that stakeholders can review without reading code.

Execution Reports: CenterTest comes with out-of-the-box reporting templates that include execution timelines, restart tracking, environment details, and pass/fail summaries.

Templates are fully customizable. Deliver results as soon as you start writing tests, then adapt formatting, content, and structure to match organizational reporting standards.

Video Recordings: CenterTest generates single-stream video recordings across even the most complex multi-session, multi-user test executions.

Real-time overlays identify each action at the test level. Element highlighting provides visual confirmation of every UI interaction. Business teams can validate requirements by watching tests execute. Development and automation teams debug failures easier by watching what happens - even slowing down video and test execution as needed.

Screenshots: Screenshots generate automatically when a test fails. You can also take screenshots manually at any step, or programmatically when verifying assertions.

Optional field highlighting and narrative overlays identify critical UI checks like pre-set values, non-blank values, or system errors.
