Kimputing Inc., makers of CenterTest™, a test automation framework purpose-built for Guidewire InsuranceSuite® and Guidewire Cloud™, today announced a partnership with MutualCore Solutions Ltd. (MutualCore), a Toronto-based independent advisory firm for Canadian property and casualty carriers, to explore CenterTest-driven quality transformation opportunities for enterprise insurance carriers in Canada.
MutualCore brings an executive-level leadership perspective, IT transformation experience, and customer-first consultative advisory. It was founded by an executive who has held CIO and VP Operations roles at Canadian P&C carriers, led Guidewire® programs for 14 years, and governed multi-year transformations across policy administration, claims, billing, broker portals, integration, and rating.
Its advisory practice covers three tracks: Guidewire program stabilization, rating engine and analytics advisory, and integration and channel experience.
Kimputing brings CenterTest, the best test automation solution purpose-built for Guidewire, which enables rapid automation deployment and maintains version compatibility across Guidewire releases, preserving a carrier's QA investment. MutualCore brought CenterTest to Portage Mutual Insurance and provides oversight of that engagement.
Through the partnership, the two companies can offer Canadian carriers custom automation solutions tailored to each carrier's business needs and staffed with the resources the engagement requires: Kimputing's test automation solutions and specialists, with MutualCore's executive oversight from scoping through delivery.
Where the partnership applies:
A Guidewire program under strain. Backlog drift, technical debt, system integrator dependence, or cloud migration risk is eroding the original business case; MutualCore engages on the program's governance, and CenterTest supplies automated testing where the engagement requires it.
A Guidewire Cloud migration ahead. MutualCore scopes the migration against the carrier's original business case, and the regression suite the carrier automates with CenterTest beforehand carries into Guidewire Cloud.
Critical paths without regression coverage. MutualCore brings Kimputing in for regression coverage on the carrier's Guidewire critical paths and for program quality engineering.
A broker portal or integration in delivery. MutualCore coordinates its specialist delivery partners on the integration and channel work, and CenterTest tests the portal together with PolicyCenter®, BillingCenter®, and ClaimCenter® end to end.
