Introducing CenterTest Data Studio
Business and test analysts manage the data behind CenterTest's data-driven tests themselves, in a familiar grid, without waiting for an engineer.
Business analysts and QA teams have always been able to expand CenterTest coverage through its data-driven spreadsheets. CenterTest Data Studio makes that work faster and easier.
CenterTest Data Studio is a simple interface for the data behind CenterTest's data-driven tests. Business and test analysts can expand and update test data themselves, in a familiar grid, without development knowledge and without waiting for an engineer. Editing the Excel workbooks directly is still supported.
Test data links across many workbooks. CenterTest Data Studio follows every link for you, so you see the values a test run will load, where each value comes from, and everything that depends on it.
Rename a data container's reference code, and every reference that uses it updates all at once. Define a record once, reference it by name, then scale coverage by adding new data or combining shared data, so your test data stays lean as coverage grows.
CenterTest Data Studio checks the whole project as you work and flags broken links, duplicates, and loops. Your CI pipeline can run the same check and stop bad data before it reaches a test run.
CenterTest Data Studio runs on your own machine, with nothing to install and no Java required. Run it on its own, or developers can launch it from the CenterTest IntelliJ plugin. It has no AI integrations or dependencies, and your test data stays secured in your environment at all times.
